A cheerleading captain for the Cincinnati Bengals and her middle school principal mother on Monday both plead not guilty in a sex case.
Sarah Jones, 26, is accused of having a sexual relationship with a senior at Dixie Heights High School before she resigned for “personal reasons” in November. She faces charges of first-degree sexual abuse and unlawfully using electronic devices to induce a minor to engage in sex.
Her mother, Cheryl Jones, was indicted for tampering with evidence in her daughter’s case. On Thursday, the mother was put on administration leave from her position as the Principal of Twenhofel Middle School in Taylor Mill.
